The invention relates to a security feature with a luminescent component and a component camouflaging the luminescent component. The invention is based on a security feature with a luminescent component comprising at least one luminophore, consisting of a doped host lattice, and a component camouflaging the luminescent component, wherein the properties required for camouflaging the luminescent component are as required for identification of the luminescent component camouflaged component by camouflaging the relevant properties of the luminescent component, namely the structure of the lattice host lattice, the stoichiometry of the luminescent component host lattice, the luminescent component host lattice structure, the luminescent component dopant (s) and the luminescent properties the luminescent component, by the camouflaging component in at least two, more preferably in at least three, most preferably in at least four of the relevant property be camouflaged by the fact that the camouflaging component has relevant properties that correspond to the respective relevant properties of the luminescent component, whereby detection of the luminescent component is difficult or prevented. |
