abstract The presented method and corresponding apparatus enable the simultaneous determination of the mobility, density and lifetime of photogenerated charge carriers in optically excitable materials. Thus, these materials can be easily and quickly examined for their suitability for optoelectronic components. For this purpose, charge carriers are generated by means of a pulsed light source, which are subsequently extracted by a voltage specified from the outside after any waiting time. With this measuring method, the component can be kept in electrical equilibrium during the time between charge carrier generation and charge carrier extraction. This significantly increases the measurement accuracy of the parameters mobility, density and lifetime.
