The invention relates to a pressure vessel for receiving and storing cryogenic fluids, in particular cryogenic liquids, which is formed from a metal container forming a liner (12) and a reinforcement (14) made of fiber-reinforced plastic applied to the liner (12), wherein the liner (12) is formed of a non-magnetic metal alloy having a fully austenitic cubic face-centered lattice structure and for expanding the elastic region prior to application of the reinforcement (14) of fiber reinforced plastic by an amount of up to about 25%, in particular less than about 15%; is cold-stretched, and process for its preparation and its use. |
