titleOfInvention Method and device for guiding a sawing wire
abstract A method and a device (10) for guiding a sawing wire (D) in a wire saw, in particular a multi-wire saw, are proposed. The saw wire (D) guided several times over at least two wire guide rollers (R1, R2) spans a wire field (DF), wherein within the wire field (DF) each section of the saw wire (D) extending between the wire guide rollers has a first peripheral area (UB1) engages in the abrasive zone of a Sägespaltkontur (SP) of a material to be separated (SI). In order to prevent the saw wire (D) from being worn unilaterally or asymmetrically and thus from having a non-circular cross-section which deteriorates the sawing properties, the saw wire (D) is guided at least once and at least partially about its longitudinal axis when guiding the saw wire (D) Peripheral region (UB1) is rotated out of the abrasive zone and a second peripheral region (UB2) of the saw wire (D) is rotated into the abrasive zone. To rotate the saw wire (D), the device (10) at least one around a rotational axis (A11) rotating Drahtumlenkrolle (11), to which the saw wire (D) is guided and then to z. B. 180 degrees is deflected, and then back to the wire field (DF) to be performed. The orientation (Z) of the axis of rotation (A11) of the wire deflection roller (11) deviates from the orientation (X) of the roller axes (A1, A2), and causes a torsion-free rotation of the saw wire (D) about its longitudinal axis.
