abstract The invention relates to the use of a gusseted bag formed from a multilayer film (1), which has longitudinal edges stiffened by sealing seams and can be closed after being filled by a top seal into a package having a substantially cuboid filling space for packaging particulate and granular bulk material (2 ). The film (1) used for the inventive use has a density of 0.5 g / cm 3 to 0.8 g / cm 3 and its layer structure comprises a printable outer layer (3) on the outside of the packaging, a sealing layer (7 ') from a sealable polymer on the inside of the packaging and a foamed polymer layer (5).
