titleOfInvention | Perfume depot and process for its preparation |
abstract | The storable amount of fragrance that has been achieved with previous fragrance stores, is not sufficient if a particularly small, comfortable and inconspicuous to handle fragrance depot over a long time an intense fragrance should be released. The fragrance depot according to the invention should therefore be able to absorb a larger amount of fragrance, based on the total volume, in comparison with previous storage materials. A matrix of natural rubber or silicone rubber has sufficient permeability to fragrance molecules and can take up a particularly large amount of liquid fragrance. For example, a blend of natural and essential oils with an 80% oil content has mechanical properties sufficient for use as a fragrance depot. A spherical perfume depot with 80% of essential oils with a volume of about 0.5 cm 3 exudes over weeks an intense fragrance. |
