abstract The present application relates to isolated bifunctional polypeptides. More particularly, the present application relates to polypeptides having glucanase activity and protease activity, wherein the polypeptide is a derivative of a naturally occurring polypeptide having glucanase and protease activity simultaneously. In another aspect, compositions are provided containing this polypeptide. Finally, the present application is directed to the use of the polypeptides of the invention in detergents or cleaners, as an antimicrobial agent or for the digestion of animal, vegetable and microbial material and corresponding methods.
