| abstract |
A filter media includes a scrim, a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) medium substrate on the scrim, and a layer of expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) membrane that adheres to the PTFE media substrate on the scrim. The filter media is foldable and has an air permeability of approximately 3-10 cubic feet / min with a pressure drop of 0.5 inches of water and an original filter efficiency of more than 99.0% when in an unused, unfolded condition with a 0.3 Micrometer test aerosol is tested at a flow rate of 10.5 feet / min and when tested after a performance test with cleanable dust according to ASTM D6830. |
