titleOfInvention Antimony-free and cobalt-free polyethylene terephthalate resin composition
abstract A polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin composition provides rapid solid state polymerization and low processing of acetaldehyde and cyclic oligomers during processing. In the polymerization thereof, a titanium-containing compound is used as a catalyst for the polycondensation, and a phosphorus-containing stabilizer and an organic dye are added to prevent yellowing of the resulting polyester, while a compound expressed by the following formula (I) and Phosphorus and calcium added to accelerate the solid state polymerization of the PET prepolymer and to improve the processability of the PET resin composition so that the PET resin reproduces less acetaldehyde and cyclic oligomers when further processed into a preform.
