In the treatment of painful intervertebral disc diseases, an attempt is made to counteract degeneration. On the one hand, artificial nucleus pulposus prostheses are being developed and, on the other hand, regenerative therapy with the use of biomaterials in the intervertebral disc is being pursued. In both cases, massive herniations of the mentioned materials can occur due to existing or access-related enlarged analus defects. From this point of view, the secure closure and regeneration of the annulus fibrosis is an important prerequisite and development for the treatment of herniated discs and degenerative herniated discs. For this purpose, the invention proposes, as an improvement, to use an implant which comprises a sandwich structure, wherein a reinforcing structure is arranged between a two-layer nonwoven and the nonwoven comprises in particular a biocompatible material. |
