titleOfInvention Method for Ex Vivo Cultivation of Tissues or Embryonic Organisms
abstract The invention relates to a method for the ex vivo cultivation of tissues or embryonic organ systems on a multiwell plate (1), comprising the following method steps: a) placing one or more tissues or one or more embryonic organs (6) at or near the center of the circular surface of the well (4) in a single well (2); b) adding the complete nutrient medium (7) in an amount necessary for complete wetting of the circular surface of the wellbase (4); and c) incubation of the tissue (s) or the embryonic organ (s) (6) and the nutrient medium (7) in carbon dioxide-enriched moist atmosphere and a temperature range of 35 to 39 ° C. With this method, the organ system / tissue to be cultured can be fixed and constant influence on the development of the cultured organ system / tissue can be exercised. The method allows the accurate study of the early development of organs in vitro.
