abstract |
Disclosed is a method of fusing information from histological images with CT images, the method comprising: (a) reconstructing a histological volume from histological sections; (b) Fusion of histological volume with a CT image volume. According to other embodiments, MRI images are used instead of CT images. Successive histological sections may be stained using different dyes. An abdominal organ to be examined can be fixed in situ by perfusion using formalin. |
