abstract |
The present invention relates to a pressure vessel for cryogenic liquids. The pressure vessel consists of a liner of a metal alloy with cubic face-centered lattice structure or a titanium alloy with hexagonal or mixed hexagonal / cubic body-centered lattice structure. A reinforcement of fiber-reinforced plastic is applied to the liner, the matrix of the fiber-reinforced plastic having a high elongation at break in the cryogenic region. |
