A yarn, in particular sewing or embroidery yarn, with at least one yarn portion of polyester fibers is described, wherein the yarn has the construction of a twisted yarn, an air-twisted yarn or a core yarn. At least 20% by weight of the yarn consists of a polyester fiber made from recycled polyester, based on the total content of polyester fibers in the yarn. The polyester fibers made of recycled polyester have a CIELab whiteness less than 75. |
