titleOfInvention gastroscope
abstract The invention relates to a gastroscope having a sensor guided over a guidewire in a working channel, wherein the sensor comprises a first electrode of a noble metal which is not vulnerable to hydrochloric acid, and a second electrode of silver, and between the first electrode and an alternating voltage having a variably predeterminable frequency spectrum can be applied to the second electrode, and a change in an electrical quantity can be measured when ammonia is present between the first electrode and the second electrode. With the gastroscope according to the invention, the tissue of the gastric mucosa can be examined in a very short time for Helicobacter pylori.
