abstract | The invention relates to a food product and a method for producing a food product, which has a shell of at least one enveloping mass, into which a flowable filling is metered, with the proviso that the filling is made of a flowable starting material containing water, wherein a thickening agent is added to the flowable feedstock prior to metering the charge, and the charge liquid is converted to a thickened high viscosity charge to perform the metering operation, and further adding a liquefying agent chemically reactive with the thickener to the charge mass through which the charge is liquefied or re-liquefied at least softened. Furthermore, the invention relates to a confectionery product produced by the above method. |
