titleOfInvention Ophthalmic lens with peripheral power variation
abstract Spectacle lens comprising: A central viewing area (A1) extending continuously from an upper to a lower edge area of the spectacle lens in the position of use, with a refractive power whose maximum and minimum value deviates by not more than 0.25 d from the mean value of the refractive power in the central viewing area (A1) , and - Two through the central viewing area (A1) horizontally separated peripheral viewing areas (A2, A3), in which the refractive power from the central viewing area (A1) at least partially in the horizontal direction to the right and left edge of the lens changes such that this change the refractive power has the same sign at both edges, wherein the refractive power deviates at least 0.15 D from the mean value of the refractive power in the central viewing area in the entire peripheral viewing areas.
