titleOfInvention Method and device for separating CO2 from exhaust gas
abstract For the subsequent capture of CO 2 at a combustion plant for the combustion of carbonaceous fuels (coal, natural gas, oil, biomass, waste, etc.), a CO 2 -Abscheideranlage is provided. In this, the exhaust gas is passed through a CO 2 absorber (1) in which CO 2 is bound to CaO to produce CaCO 3 . The CO 2 is then released in a desorber (2). The heat required in the desorber to maintain the endothermic desorption process is preferably supplied via heat pipes (14). The heat pipes (14) are heated via a fluidized bed cooler (8). The fluid bed cooler (8) is heated by a stream of hot solids from an incinerator (7). The exhaust gases of the incinerator (7) are passed through the CO 2 absorber (1). The CO 2 contained in the exhaust gas is largely absorbed there. The consisting of nitrogen and optionally water vapor residual gas is discharged after appropriate cooling through a chimney (5).
