titleOfInvention | Device and method for disinfecting a toilet device |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for disinfecting a toilet device, wherein the water for flushing a toilet (1) via a cistern (9) in a flushing pipe (7) and from there into the interior of the toilet (1) is passed. Before entering the cistern (9), the water is passed through an ozone generator (11) where it is treated with ozone, so that it continues to flow as ozone water containing dissolved ozone and ozone gas bubbles. After passing through the ozone generator (11), the ozone-added water flows through an ozone converter (33), which partially converts the ozone dissolved in the water into hydrogen peroxide by means of a catalytically active filling. When refilling the cistern (9) after a flushing operation to a predetermined water level (35) of the lifting water level (35) exerts a piston action, the ozone gas into the flushing pipe (7) and from there into the interior of the toilet (1) conducts. |
