A method for applying a porous self-cleaning anti-reflection layer, wherein the anti-reflection layer is applied by a sol-gel method, characterized in that a titanium-containing precursor is used and the sol-gel solution particles are added, and the sol-gel layer is baked wherein an antireflective layer is prepared with a matrix of crystalline or semi-crystalline titanium oxide comprising less than 40% titanium oxide. |
