A pressure vessel (10) for storing gaseous hydrogen under pressure comprises a liner (12) defining an interior space (14) for receiving the gaseous hydrogen, and a coil (16) surrounding the liner (12) which communicates with the pressure vessel (10 ) imparts its dimensional stability. In order to prevent leakage of gaseous hydrogen from the winding (16) of the pressure vessel at a discharge of the pressure vessel (10) after a long service life, the winding (16) of the pressure vessel (10) is at least partially gas-permeable, so that the liner (12) penetrating gas continuously through the winding (16) from the pressure vessel (10) can escape. |
