abstract Technical problem: Reactive fluorescent dyes that react under mild conditions do not change their color properties in a predictable manner. This situation makes it difficult to control the success of the reaction and impairs analytical applications. Solution: Reactive leuco fluorescent dyes that react under mild conditions and thereby change color are provided. Furthermore, a method for their synthesis is provided.
