abstract |
The invention relates to a semiconductor chip having an active layer, which is provided for the emission of electromagnetic radiation, and a two-dimensional arrangement of structural units, which is arranged downstream of the active layer in a main emission direction of the semiconductor chip. The structural units are arranged in an arbitrary statistical distribution. By such an arrangement of structural units, a semiconductor chip having a directional radiation characteristic can be realized. |
