abstract | In a disposable microcuvette for determining the hemoglobin content in whole blood, with a slit-shaped cavity which is limited at least in a partial area by two substantially parallel cuvette walls which are at least partially coated on their surface facing the cavity with a dry hemolysis agent, wherein the hemolysis agent solvable by the whole blood and is suitable for hemolysis of blood cells and wherein the cuvette walls are at least partially durchstrahlbar for measurement purposes, an acceleration of the measuring process is achieved in that at least one additive is deposited on the walls with the hemolysis agent and that at least one additive is the shape an inert salt or a mixture of inert salts. |
