titleOfInvention Sensor element for a physical quantity
abstract A physical quantity sensor element includes a strain sensitive resistor (4) and an electrically insulating material (2). The strain sensitive resistor (4) has a value of electrical resistance that is changeable in response to a change in a strain level generated by application of a stress. The electrically insulating material (2) is connected to the strain-sensitive resistor (4), wherein the electrically insulating material (2) has an electrically insulating property. The strain sensitive resistor (4) comprises (a) a matrix having a glass and (b) electrically conductive particles dispersed in the glass. The glass is free of lead and has bismuth.
