titleOfInvention Fully synthetic albumin analog
abstract The invention relates to a fully synthetic albumin analog (10) useful in coatings (27) for blood (31) contacting surfaces (26) to improve the hematocompatibility of the surface (26), such a coating (27 ), a medical device having at least one such surface (26), and further the use of a fully synthetic albumin analogue for intracorporeal detoxification, wherein the fully synthetic albumin analogue (10) has at least one three-dimensional basic structure (11) with at least two, in geometrical relationship arranged in a defined manner, having bound joint regions (12) to which at least one residue (14) is covalently bound (Fig. 1).
