abstract The invention is based on a radiation detector with a plurality of detector cells (2) each having a readout electrode (10) and at least one readout channel (20) connected to the readout electrodes (10) for spatially resolved measurement of electromagnetic radiation. In order to achieve a better energy resolution of the radiation detector, it is proposed that at least two of the readout electrodes (10) are connected to a common readout channel (20).
