Optimized electrocoating of assembled and partially pre-phosphated components |
abstract |
Process for the corrosion protection treatment of metallic components, which have been heat-treated at a temperature of at least 100 ° C and which consist at least partly of surfaces of zinc, wherein the surfaces of the component, which consist of zinc, have a crystalline zinc phosphate layer, wherein the cleaned component activating pretreatment with an acidic aqueous dispersion of insoluble phosphates having a pH of not less than 4, and then subjecting the component to a phosphating conversion treatment before applying the electrodeposition paint. The invention further encompasses the use of metallic components which have been treated in such a method for the application of multilayer systems and in particular for the production of bodies in automotive production. |
