titleOfInvention dental implant
abstract The invention relates to a dental implant, preferably the implant of a dental implant system. The dental implant is characterized by the fact that its anchoring in the jaw withstands comparatively higher turning and tilting loads. The endosseous region of the implant is shaped non-rotationally symmetrical, the geometry of the region corresponding to the superimposition of at least two rotationally symmetrical geometric bodies whose axes of symmetry are mutually perpendicularly offset in parallel or tilted relative to each other in such a way that they intersect at least in the upper enossal region. The geometric bodies always overlap, at least in the upper endosteal area, so that non-rotationally symmetrical closed cross-sectional areas are formed there. According to the invention, the lower enossal area can be designed to be tooth root-like or likewise have closed cross-sectional areas.
