abstract A sensor housing (10) is sealed by means of sealing compound (7) against the ingress of dust by grooves on the interfaces of abutting housing parts (1, 2, 3, 8, 9) are formed so that in the assembled state, at least one channel (4 ) form. After assembling and fixing the housing parts, the sealing compound (7) is injected into the channel (4) through an inlet opening (5). As a result, even complex contact geometries can be sealed against each other in a simple manner.
