abstract |
The invention relates to a hydrolytically degradable polymer blend and an article produced from the polymer blend. The polymer blend according to the invention comprises: (A) poly (ε-caprolactone) and (B) at least one copolyester component containing at least one α-hydroxycarboxylic acid unit, in particular glycolide and / or lactide units, and at least one co-monomer unit, in particular ε-caprolactone. The polymer material according to the invention is distinguished by outstanding mechanical properties, in particular a very high tensile yield strength, and has improved biocompatibility and degradation rate compared to the individual components. |
