abstract | Use of BK-RiV preparations containing RiV particles with a size of 30 to 70 nm for the preparation of medicaments for the treatment of cerebral infarction, wherein the preparation of the BK-RiV preparations comprises the following steps: - Cultivation of primary, diploid or indefinitely growing vertebrate cells; Stressing the cells, preferably by starvation stress, due to the use of medium without serum, producing the 30-70 nm RiV particles; - cell disruption; - Separation of larger cell debris; - enrichment of the RiV particles in the resuspended sediment by ultracentrifugation and short-term solvent treatment or by ultrafiltration or by affinity chromatography; - Obtaining the aqueous phase containing the RiV particles after low-speed centrifugation. |
