The present invention relates to an isolated DNA which is selected from the following sequences: a sequence according to SEQ.-ID-Nr. 01, an intron-free sequence derived from a sequence according to a) and encoding the same protein or peptide as the sequence of SEQ.ID.NO. 01, a sequence encoding a protein or peptide having the amino acid sequence of SEQ. ID. NO. 02 includes, a sequence which is at least 80% identical to a sequence according to a) to c), a sequence which would hybridize with the opposite strand of a sequence according to any one of groups a) to d) or hybridize in consideration of the degeneracy of the genetic code, a derivative obtained by substitution, addition, inversion and / or deletion of one or more bases of a sequence according to one of the groups a) to e), as well as a complementary sequence to a sequence according to one of the groups a) to f). The invention further relates to a vector, the use of this vector for transforming a cell, a transformed cell, a polypeptide, genetically modified cells relative to their wild type, a method for producing a genetically modified cell, the genetically modified cell obtainable by these methods, the use this cell, a process for the preparation of (S) - or (R) -3-hydroxyisobutyric acid or of (S) - or (R) -3-hydroxyisobutyric acid based polyhydroxyalkanoates ... |
