Process for producing a granulate from a low-viscosity polyester (PET) plastic melt |
abstract |
The invention relates to a process for producing a granulate from a low-viscosity polyester (PET) plastic melt, which comprises the following steps: - preparing a low viscosity polyester (PET) plastic melt; - Forming granules of the low-viscosity polyester (PET) plastic melt by means of a granulation device; - Cooling of the granules by means of gas cooling, so that the granules are solidified at least on their surface and are present as amorphous granules; - Store the amorphous granules in water at a temperature below the glass transition temperature, wherein the amorphous granules crystallize. The invention also relates to a use of said method. |
