A flame photometer detector (100) comprising: a burner assembly (116) configured to generate a non-pulsed flame to combust a sample of effluent, the burnt sample emitting an excited molecule; a single, interchangeable wideband selective optical pass filter (150) configured to pass a plurality of selected optical wavelengths corresponding to the first molecule, the selected optical wavelengths extending collectively from 335 to 405 nanometers (nm); and a photomultiplier tube (138) configured to quantify the concentration of the excited molecule. |
