abstract The invention therefore provides a process for the preparation of SiOC-linked, linear (AB) d polydimethylsiloxane-polyoxyalkylene block copolymers of the general formula [(R 2 SiO) x (C n H 2n O) x] d, in which R are monovalent C 1 to C 18 , preferably C 1 to C 4, hydrocarbon radicals, n represents a number from 2 to 4, preferably 2 or 3, x ≧ 5, y ≧ 10, d ≧ 3 is, by reacting aminosiloxanes having primary amino groups with polyoxyalkylene diols, which is characterized in that one or more tertiary amines are used as catalyst.
