The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of essentially enantiomerically pure compounds of the formulas Ia, Ib, Ic and / or Id, wherein R is CH 2 X, CHO, CH = NR 1 , CH = NNR 2 , COOH, COOR 3 , CONR 4 R 5 or CN; X is OH, O-SO 2 R 6 or halogen; R 1 is H, OH, C 1 -C 8 alkyl or aryl; R 2 is H, C 1 -C 8 alkyl or aryl; R 3 is C 1 -C 8 alkyl, C 2 -C 8 hydroxyalkyl or arylalkyl; R 4 and R 5 independently of one another are H, C 1 -C 8 -alkyl, C 2 -C 8 -hydroxyalkyl, aryl or arylalkyl or, together with the nitrogen atom to which they are bonded, a 5- or 6-membered saturated and form an unsaturated ring having 1 to 3 heteroatoms; and R 6 is C 1 -C 8 alkyl, C 1 -C 8 haloalkyl or aryl. The invention furthermore relates to certain compounds of the formulas Ia and Ib and also compounds of the formulas Ic and Id. Finally, the invention relates to a process for the preparation of enantiomerically pure epoxiconazole using compounds Ia or Ib. |
