abstract A storage container, in particular a storage container for cryogenic media, preferably for liquid hydrogen, comprising at least one condensing line which serves to supply gaseous cryogenic medium, is described. According to the invention, the condensing line (3) has at least one heat exchanger (W) via which the supplied cryogenic medium is cooled in the heat exchanger against the stored cryogenic medium (F). Furthermore, a method for filling a storage container with a gaseous cryogenic medium is described.
