titleOfInvention | Use of peptides HNP 1-3 as a marker for the detection of malignant lymphomas, in particular of cutaneous T-cell lymphomas from blood |
abstract | The object of the invention was to detect lymphomas, in particular cutaneous T-cell lymphomas, with high sensitivity and specificity at an early stage, with little expense and quickly. Surprisingly, it has been found that the peptides HNP1-3, which are known per se as markers for activated inflammatory processes and for colorectal carcinomas, are suitable for such detection in that they are recognized from blood by an antibody-based detection method. In particular, the invention appears predestined in routine clinical examination of patients for the early detection and prognosis differentiation of malignant lymphomas. |
