abstract There is provided a measuring quality improved gas measuring device with an electrochemical gas sensor (8) with a) a first sample gas line (4) and with a first pump (3) in the first sample gas line (4), b) one of the first sample gas line (4) as a bypass branching second sample gas line (5) with a second pump (6) in the second sample gas line (5) and c) a pyrolysis device (7) connected upstream of the electrochemical gas sensor (8) in the second sample gas line (5), and d) at least one temperature sensor (9) arranged in the outflow region of the pyrolysis device (7) for detecting the temperature dependent on the gas volume flow.
