titleOfInvention Electric connection box for a vehicle and method of mounting the same
abstract An object of the present invention is to drain water that has entered an electrical connection box without increasing the electrical connection box and without causing water to pass through a portion of internal wiring , An upper case and a lower case for accommodating an internal circuit of an electric connection box for a vehicle are made by fitting a surrounding wall of the upper case into the inside of that of the lower case and engaging locking jaws thereof outer surface of the surrounding wall of the upper housing, and coupled to those which project from the inner surface of the surrounding wall of the lower housing. An upper wall of the rectangular upper case is inclined downward from a central portion to at least three peripheral edges. A clearance defined between the surrounding walls of the upper and lower casings by engagement of the locking claws serves as a drainage path. A bottom wall of the lower case is formed with drain holes at positions corresponding to the bottom end of the drainage path, and these drain holes are formed by removing molds for forming the locking claws of the lower case. The bottom wall of the lower ...
