The invention relates to a bipolar plate (12, 14) and to a method for producing such a device intended for a fuel cell, comprising at least one carbon layer-containing first layer (16, 20, 22, 26). In order to achieve good heat dissipation with high electrical stability and low electrical resistance at the same time, it is proposed that an at least one first layer or between the first and a second layer containing carbon material (16, 20, 22, 26) be made of a metal or this containing functional layer or layer (18, 24) of low electrical resistivity ρ is arranged with ρ ≦ 0.02 · 10 -6 Ωm. |
