| abstract | A watertight function can be maintained even in the case where a substrate (1) is placed between seals (4). The seal (4) has a rib-shaped convex curvature (11) with a uniform height and width on a surface which is in contact with a flexible substrate (1). The seal (4) with such a convex curvature is placed in grooves (5) in a cover (2) and a back cover (3). The rib-shaped convex curvature disposed on the gasket (4) is biased toward an edge portion of the substrate (1) when the case is closed and elastically deformed in a direction in which it is in close contact with a side surface portion (8) of the substrate (1) is coming. The convex curvature arranged on the seal thus fills a gap created in the vicinity of the lateral surface of the substrate (1) and has a functional effect in preventing water from penetrating. |
