Shaped hose for the cooling or heating circuit of an internal combustion engine. The molded tube (10) has an inner layer (11) made of a vulcanizable rubber-elastic material, a reinforcing layer (12) made of knitted textile and an outer layer (13) made of a vulcanizable rubber-elastic material. In order to improve the dynamic temperature resistance and thus to maintain good long-term behavior, the knitted textile of the reinforcement layer (12) consists of a high-strength polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) yarn. |
