titleOfInvention |
Process for the preparation of amines by hydrogenation of half-aminethers, half-aminals and aminals |
abstract |
The invention describes the production of achiral and chiral amines by the hydrogenation of hemiaminal ethers, hemiaminales and aminals in the presence of hydrogen in the presence of homogeneous metal catalysts under mild conditions. Complexes of late transition metals with achiral or chiral phosphorus-containing ligands are preferably used as metal catalysts. The process also enables the synthesis of enantiomerically pure or enantiomerically enriched amines by enantioselective or diastereoselective reaction. |
