The present invention relates to a linoleum-based floor covering, comprising at least one wear layer made of linoleum, at least one intermediate layer made of corkment or linoleum and at least one support layer arranged under the intermediate layer, a reinforcement layer based on a scrim made of textile fibers between the wear layer made of linoleum and the intermediate layer is arranged, and a method for its production.
