titleOfInvention Sample holder for chemical and biological samples
abstract A sample carrier for examining chemical and biological samples with free binding sites for coupling chemical or biological substances has a surface that consists of plastic or a plastic composite, on which free binding sites are formed on at least one area of the surface by a functionalization consisting of at least one a functional group. In particular, a sample carrier in the form of a chamber with a channel system is provided, the surface of the channels being functionalized by a plastic according to the invention. By using the sample holder, chemical and biological samples can be immobilized and then examined directly.
