abstract |
A method for producing a sintered body from cast iron with a high chromium content and having a designated chemical composition is disclosed, which, compared to conventional cast bodies of the same cast iron, has significantly improved mechanical properties and a significantly improved resistance to abrasion and corrosion. The method according to the invention comprises the steps of producing a cast iron alloy powder by quench hardening a melt e.g. B. by centrifugal spray atomization and sintering of the powder under compression by the plasma discharge sintering process. |
