titleOfInvention | Methods of coding hybridization probes |
abstract | The invention relates to a method for the identification of nucleic acids, characterized by the following steps: DOLLAR A (a) providing at least one DNA fragment with an overhanging end of known length and unknown sequence, DOLLAR A (b) fastening a specific encoder from a mixture of Encoders with also overhanging end at the overhanging end of unknown sequence of the DNA fragment, wherein the overhanging end of the attached encoder and the overhanging end of unknown sequence of the DNA fragment are completely complementary to each other, DOLLAR A (c) optionally separation of those encoders which are in Step (b) have not been attached to any DNA fragment, DOLLAR A (d) marking of the fastening product from step (b), unless marked encoders have already been used for fastening, DOLLAR A (e) hybridization of the marked fastening product with an array of oligonucleotides , which are essentially complementary to a de r strings of all possible encoders from the mix of encoders or a selection thereof. |
