abstract | The invention relates to a urine collection device for horses. A urine collection device suitable for attachment to a special holding harness and a special head part therefor are described which are advantageous for collecting urine from pregnant mares (PMU = pregnant mares' urine) for obtaining natural mixtures of conjugated estrogens (CE = conjugated estrogen ) is suitable. The harness with the urine collection device according to the invention offers great flexibility and comfort for the horse. The freedom of movement of the horse is not significantly impaired by the harness with urine collection device, so that grazing is possible and there is no need to keep a stand. The urine collection device according to the invention is characterized in particular in that the urine collecting part and the head part via a releasable connection, for.
